March Madness with a Twist of Green

March Madness with a Twist of Green
BizStream hosted its 12th annual March Madness Event on March 17th.  Since this also happened to be St. Patrick’s Day, Michelle Schmidt (event coordinator, marketing specialist, and party planner extraordinaire) chose a fun St. Paddy’s Day theme for the party.

This family friendly event is one of the ways the BizStream partners demonstrate their motto of “Work Hard, Play Hard”, by providing employees an afternoon off from work to have fun and build camaraderie amongst team members.

BizStream employees and their families were treated to a fabulous Mexican lunch buffet, cocktails, and an assortment of delicious desserts. The rest of the afternoon was spent hanging out with fellow employees, watching basketball tournament games, or playing a game or two of poker, foosball, darts, or cards.

There were a handful of children who attended the party this year, and they kept busy making St. Paddy’s Day crafts, coloring, playing with balloons, and just running around.  The mint-scented, glittery-green play-doh was also a huge hit.

Many employees (and their families) also got in the spirit of St. Paddy’s Day by sporting their green attire.  A contest was held for the person who was “Most Irish Dressed”.  Project manager, Josh Rubino took first place.

This year’s March Madness Event turned out great and was enjoyed by all. It’s not always about the basketball, but it’s always about the fun.
