Sales Account Manager

BizStream is a hybrid work digital agency located just outside of Grand Rapids, MI, specializing in website development, branding, and creative design services. We work with ambitious clients across many different industries to develop solutions that matter—and we’re looking for a Sales Account Manager who can do the same.

As a Sales Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for finding new, and nurturing long-term relationships with our clients while driving their strategic digital initiatives forward. Your goal is to grow our client base, ensure client satisfaction, and work with our team to deliver solutions that solve real business problems.

You’ll act as one of the primary contacts for client accounts, advocating for their goals while aligning BizStream’s capabilities to deliver exceptional value. Expect a fast-paced and collaborative environment with a focus on relationships, strategy, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with prospecting new client account targets and target lists
  • Manage a portfolio of multiple client accounts
  • Build and sustain strong and long-lasting relationships with decision makers at client accounts
  • Support the new business process, including prospect evaluation, proposals and pitching, and preparation of client contract materials
  • Assist with developing agency customer success stories and case studies
  • Accountable for the good standing of new client relationships, ensuring client agreements are mutually understood, executed, and actively managed
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and expand BizStream’s service offerings within client accounts

What You Bring

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years in account management at a digital agency or tech company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to manage multiple accounts and complex client needs
  • Proficiency with contract materials (MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, estimates)
  • Experience leading internal teams and providing client-facing strategic guidance

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like Kentico, WordPress, or Sitecore
  • Understanding of CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • General technical acumen, especially in website development and digital marketing
  • Brings an established book of business and trusted client relationships
  • A general understanding of AI tooling and use cases
