Ozarks Electric Cooperative is a member-owned utility company that provides reliable, affordable electricity to homes and businesses across Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma. With a strong focus on innovation and community service, Ozarks Electric has expanded its offerings to include advanced energy solutions and high-speed fiber internet through its subsidiary, OzarksGo. The organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life for its members through dependable service, modern infrastructure, and a commitment to sustainability.
Ozarks Electric partnered with BizStream to reimagine its primary website, ozarksecc.com—the organization’s main communication hub for both members and the public. The goal was to enhance design, usability, and technology while modernizing the digital experience to better reflect Ozarks Electric’s innovative approach to energy and connectivity.

The redesigned Ozarks Electric Cooperative website delivered measurable improvements in performance, accessibility, and content management. Powered by Storyblok and BizStream’s Web Accelerator for Storyblok, the site now loads faster, performs stronger in search, and gives internal teams the freedom to create and update content effortlessly, all while improving the member experience.

Ozarks Electric’s previous website was difficult to navigate, deeply nested, and built on a limited CMS that restricted customization. The communications team struggled to present information in flexible, engaging ways or automate key updates like outage alerts. With content duplication, dated design, and limited control over layout, the website no longer supported the cooperative’s evolving communication needs.
