BizStream at Kentico Connection 2026 in Hilton Head

BizStream is sponsoring Kentico Connection 2026 in Hilton Head, October 6-8, with Brian McKeiver speaking in three sessions.

Kentico Connection 2026 runs October 6-8 at Hilton Head, South Carolina, and BizStream is a sponsor again this year. Brian McKeiver, our Co-owner and Solution Architect, is part of three sessions across the agenda, covering multi-site management at scale, AI-assisted development, and a leadership panel on where AI actually helps teams today. Mark Schmidt, our Founder, will be there along with other members of our team.

The event brings together Kentico customers, partners, and MVPs for two days of keynotes, customer stories, and business and technical breakouts. View the full agenda and register here.

Kentico Connection 2026

Why We're at Kentico Connection

We have been a Kentico partner since 2010, and Brian has been a Kentico MVP for 15 consecutive years. Most of the work we bring to Connection comes from enterprise clients who need a content platform to hold up under real complexity: hundreds of sites, distributed content owners, strict governance requirements, and development teams that need to move faster without breaking things.

Those are the problems on the agenda this year, and the ones we work on every day. You can read more about our Kentico work and services if you want context before the event.

Who You'll Find From BizStream

Brian McKeiver

Co-owner and Solution Architect, BizStream

Brian has led architecture and platform strategy at BizStream for more than two decades. He is a 15-time consecutive Kentico MVP, a Kontent.ai MVP, and a five-time Microsoft Azure MVP, and he spends most of his time now on how AI tooling changes the way development teams actually work. He also writes about development and digital strategy at Mcbeev.com.

Mark Schmidt

Founder and Solution Architect, BizStream

Mark started BizStream in 2001 and still writes code. He has worked hands-on in Kentico across every major version of the platform, and our team goes to him when an implementation problem doesn’t have an obvious answer. If you want to talk architecture, migration paths, or what a build actually takes, find Mark.

Brian's Sessions at Kentico Connection 2026

Doing More With the Team You Have: Where AI Really Helps
Wednesday, October 7, 11:00 to 11:45 am

Brian joins Dominik Pinter and Oldrich Januska of Kentico on a panel of business and technology leaders from across the partner network. The conversation focuses on where AI is genuinely improving productivity right now, where leaders should be investing, what work teams can stop doing manually, and what should stay with people. Budgets are flat while expectations keep rising, and this session is about what to do about that in practice rather than in theory.

AI Code Is Slop. Until It Isn’t
Thursday, October 8, 10:50 to 11:10 am, Technical Track

A lot of developers have tried AI-generated code once, gotten back plausible C# that references APIs Xperience by Kentico does not have, and written the whole category off. Brian’s argument is that the complaint is fair but incomplete. He will walk through the setup we run at BizStream and show the difference in output using the same models. The gap comes down to tooling, context, approach, and the developers steering it.

Powering 350+ Websites: Scale Without Sacrificing Flexibility
Thursday, October 8, 12:00 to 12:30 pm, Business Track

Brian presents with Sean Wright, Lead Product Evangelist at Kentico, on how Franchise Services runs more than 350 TeamLogic IT websites on a shared foundation. Franchise brands are usually assumed to need one national site and a location finder. TeamLogic IT is different, because every franchisee offers services shaped by their own market and skill set, and the site has to reflect that without central teams losing governance or brand consistency.

Attendees will also hear from David Robidoux, Executive Vice President and CMO at Franchise Services, on what the project has meant for their business.

The session covers how the setup works day-to-day, what the rebuild did for performance, and how the national content team now creates and customizes franchise pages without waiting on developers. The new site is 60 percent faster than the one it replaced, and it was named Kentico Site of the Month in May 2026. The foundation was also built to extend to other Franchise Services brands, which is the part most multi-site teams underestimate when they start.

Scaling a Franchise Network Without Scaling the Complexity

Connect With Us at the Event

If you are attending, find Brian, Mark, or anyone else from our team between sessions or at the welcome reception on Tuesday evening, 6:00 to 8:00 pm, on the Bullhead Deck. We are happy to talk through migration planning, multi-site architecture, or how your team might use AI tooling in development without the guesswork.

Not making it to Hilton Head? You can still connect with Brian on LinkedIn to start the conversation.
