Project Goals

BizStream assisted in the Henry’s project with AriensCo, which aimed to introduce an entirely new brand. The goal was to launch a user-friendly interface enabling customers to easily search for Henry’s parts while empowering dealers to place orders seamlessly.

BizStream was a great teammate who invested in working side by side with our team to achieve its goals. Each time we have needed to shift focus or adjust requirements, BizStream has been flexible and valuable in helping us make the right decisions.

Challenges

  • Constructing a highly tailored solution that seamlessly integrates with their Product Information Manager (PIM). The website interfaces with various components of their systems to retrieve part data, pricing, and availability.
  • Prioritizing search functionality was crucial to ensuring that dealers could swiftly locate the parts they required in a manner that made the most sense.
  • Dealers needed a concise, quick-reference view of available parts, structured according to search and filtering criteria.

Solutions

  • BizStream collaborated closely with the client's development team to create a solution that extracts required data from their systems. This solution maintains flexibility, enabling the client to update information and categorizations as necessary, with the website responding accordingly.
  • Our integration with Azure search involved customized solutions for parsing search terms, managing synonyms, and adjusting field weights to refine search results.
  • We designed and implemented a catalog view for parts, providing a highly condensed quick reference. This feature allows for easy printing and utilization within the dealer’s businesses, facilitating the process of picking parts from shelves or quickly scanning through information.
