Project Goals

The primary business goal of the PLACE Plot project was to enhance the ability to identify and analyze relationships within the MiSTEM Network. By offering clear insights into the connections between individuals and organizations, the tool empowers MiSTEM to streamline collaboration and maximize the effectiveness of its statewide efforts.

Challenges

  • MiSTEM faced challenges due to the use of multiple, disconnected applications to gather information and create relationship graphs. This lack of centralization made it challenging to manage and maintain data effectively. To eliminate inefficiencies in collaboration and communication, the organization needed help tracking who was working with whom and identifying the services and enrichments being provided across the network.

Solutions

  • BizStream provided MiSTEM with a comprehensive, all-in-one solution for their surveying needs. The custom application we developed enables them to easily create and distribute surveys while visually displaying the results as relationship graphs for better clarity. Additionally, we implemented a feature allowing MiSTEM administrators to invite users and assign them to specific regions. This regional assignment made it easier for collaborators to send targeted surveys and analyze region-specific data. Sharing results was also streamlined, with the ability to generate shareable links for seamless collaboration between MiSTEM administrators and partners.
