Aspire Communities is one of West Michigan’s largest owners and operators of manufactured housing communities. Based in the Grand Rapids area, the company manages seven communities across Michigan, serving more than 2,000 residents. Aspire’s mission centers on providing affordable, quality housing and a high standard of service to the people who call their communities home.
Aspire Communities partnered with BizStream to modernize tenant support across every channel, reducing the manual workload on staff while creating a faster, more consistent experience for residents. The goal was never just to add a chatbot. It was to rethink how support worked end to end, meeting tenants where they already were, whether that was on the website, over the phone, or in their inbox, while freeing staff to focus on the work that actually required their attention. For Aspire, this engagement was as much about operational strategy as it was about delivering a good experience for the people they serve.
Aspire now offers residents one consistent support experience across web chat, email, and SMS, backed by a system built to save staff time on the questions that come up again and again.
BizStream was amazing to work with. These guys are true professionals in the ever-changing AI Landscape and navigated through our project with a wealth of knowledge. The AI Chatbot they designed and implemented for our business has been a game-changer and has saved our staff countless hours on simple questions. I could not recommend BizStream enough.

Before the project, tenant support at Aspire ran almost entirely through the people managing each community, with no consistent way for residents to get quick answers outside of a direct conversation.

BizStream approached the rollout as a phased, strategy-first build, giving Aspire a support experience that could scale across channels without sacrificing consistency or control.
Aspire came to BizStream needing more than a chatbot vendor. Consumer-facing AI carries real risk if it’s rushed, and Aspire wanted a partner who understood where those risks lived and how to plan around them.
BizStream brought a methodical, evidence-based approach to every decision, evaluating options rather than defaulting to the familiar, and choosing tools based on what the project actually needed rather than what was easiest to implement. That same rigor extended beyond the technology itself, into how residents would experience and adopt the assistant. It’s the kind of partnership that turns a chatbot project into a support system Aspire’s team and residents can actually rely on.
